$700 is the going price for a new Evo 9 bumper at any of the reputable shops (Gruppe-S,Speed Element,etc...). If you want quality, you have to pay for it. The only cheaper alternative I can think of is buying one used.

$700 is what everyone has paid. You have to remember that JDM is expensive here in the states.

that one on streetconcepts is crap. it's not going to fit properly. spend the extra $500 and get the proper bumper, you'll be glad you did.

Its not that expensive, its the fact that you have to ship it from japan. It will run nearly the same for a US one minus the shipping costs

The only ****ty part is the JDM IX bumpers dont come in GG

how extensive is the removal of the crash beam? And what if his dad crashes into the bumper again, won't that cause MORE damage to the REST of the body since the beam absorbs the impact usually?

I'm thinking about the JDM IX bumper as well, not hijacking the thread, but getting more info from those that converted over. . .

And yeah dude, $700 is cheap because it's ALREADY painted and primed, you're money, all you do is pop it on, you don't have to spend more $$$ getting it done. . .
