Are you running a hi flow cat? just curious 'cause it seems no one with big turbos is retaining a cat.

I am. I'm running the HFC to keep the noise down for one. Also, I kinda wanna see what it can do with a cat on it. A test pipe would make this thing sooo loud and MA cops just love loud imports

bottom line is looks like a rock nailed the compressor housing, all of the fins are F'd we think it happened last time he was here, when we took it for a road test for some fine tuning his air filter fell off, i noticed a bunch of small changes in the AEM's paremeters what i thought was right away. We pulled over into a parking lot and all we found wrong was the air filter off (at the time we didnt look at the compressor). shortly after (or maybe at the same time) his O2 sensor was nailed by his driveshaft. This ended the session for the day for obvious reasons. He came back yesterday with cam gears for some dyno tuning with those and then a street tune with his O2 sensor relocated. On the very first pull his car was down something like 30hp, I strugled for about 2 hours doing everything humanly possible to get the car to make the same power it had the last time he was here untill it started idling a little funny. We decided to do a boost test because of the idle problem and figured although unlikely maybe a leak was causing the loss in HP (we did a boost test last time and the car had not been modded since) the tester popped off and i watched the compressor wheel spin down (cause im attracted to shiny spinny things ) and when it stopped i was like WTF, The compressor wheel was destroyed.... I wonder where all the HP went???

If you send me the turbo I can send it out to have it repaired. I wont know a price untill they look at it but its better then buying a new one.
