20min later....Gauge cluster = FTW

Followed this how-to by bolsen and 20min later it came out like this ..Thanks for the how-to i love it....pics dont do justice but heres some pics...

LOL i forgot to add both and hector(loco4) and i did this, the 1st pics is his(stock) second was mine(after) i just forgot to take pics of mine before

The pics don't really help because you are using different exposures for each of the shots so the comparison is pretty much unbalanced overall..

So, they're just brighter?

i did that and the lights around the A/C and stereo were red then they turned orange after 1 week. did you use a sharpie? i need to find a better red pan that will not fade

I forgot to mention that i didnt paint the bulbs, I just took the blue jacket over them off and put them back in...

Btw they are like 5Xs brighter then stock...

The pics really don't do it justice. Kevin and me didn't want to get the ugly indiglos available for this car so I found the How To and tried it. All it was is removing 9 screws, two harnesses, and the covers on the stock bulbs. The best free mod I have done to this car so far. Like Kevin said they are 5x brighter, you can actually see the gauges at dusk now.

As far as exposure NOTHING was done different between pics....it is even in the same exact location. That is how dim the stockers are.

As far as this thread being worthless it is a FREE mod to help with the crappy gauge cluster lighting. Thought everyone should have an opportunity to see this.
