you can get this stuff from ebay. i've used the red on my tail lights before and they looked great. it's kinda expensive though. the Tamiya model paint was only $5 for a 100ml can.

link here

or you can get the Tamiya paint here

if you're not up to doing it yourself, you can get a hold of EvoDave. he does an excellent job and you can get it in any style you want.

Oh I know.. I just want the exact paints he used is all. I'm a DIYer myself. I just figure why mess with the recipe when there is already a nice one out there.

thanks for the referral bro....its a pretty big task that very few have been able to do and do right ( i used to have to do the black surround like you did to cover up the edges) i think most people can get these apart if they take enough time and have the right tools but final re-assembly (proper 100% seal is needed and getting everything fully cleaned is difficult)....i actually test seal and offer lifetime warranty and like you said can do any style on heads or tails...

Thanks!
Dave

Great job! I have an 2005 MR. Do you know if the tail light assemblies are glued or held together with sealant in 2005. What is the heat gun method you refered too?
