I'm giddy as the freakin N64 kid!!! After trolling the board for over a year and a half I finally have one of my own. Took a couple pics of the the beast. Hope you guys like.

I got to sit in it and start it up last night , but i won't be able to pick it up till monday or wednesday. So, technically the wait is ALMOST over, but close enough cause i can pet it now, . They have to clean it up, fill'er up and unfortunately one of the mechanics has to take it for a drive.
I of course asked to be present in the passenger seat when that happens. I've talked to one of their "mechanics" about 6 months ago when i was looking, and he told me that he had one of the Evo's doing 110 by the time he hit the second light on Brooklyn Blvd. And when i went in two weeks ago one of the sales guys told me he was driving the hell out of one of them, . You'd think they would know better than tell a perspective buyer dumb s**t like that. So I requested to be present when they drive it.


Oh yeah... almost forgot about the pics.. hope i'm doing this right, First time trying to attach stuff to a forum (doing a link hope it works). Got that proud papa thing going on where I need to show everyone.

Disclaimer: Crappy camera (Fuji E550), crappy photographer (myself). No sun, Car's still dirty as hell from shipping. It still has the shipping plastic on it. Also, couldn't get good pics from the side as there were cars parked on both sides.

Technically its the MR w/ Appearance package. I guess it didn't get the SE name but MR SE is easier to say.

How much did you pay before taxes and license???

 

FYI, they don't have to drive it as part of the dealer "readying" (forget the actual acronym for it). I picked up my car with 2 miles on the clock, and it came off the truck with those.

 

Yeah the black lettering looks nice and then the MR just pops cause its so Red. Now i just have to black out the emblems. I need to check around and see if I can get black emblems made of that same material the other lettering is made of.

I like the rims too. They get darker depending on how you are looking at them. I think i prefer them over the Darker gray ones.

Oh and grats on the new edition. Wife and i just welcomed our 2nd two months ago. Good luck!


I'll have to add new pics once it gets a bath and the white plastic off. I have a guy who works with me who does photography and has a couple real nice digital SLR's. Get some pics up worthy of the car.
