Before you say it, yes I've searched, and no I didnt find what I was looking for

Anyone have any better pics of the Mines spoiler? The standard pic used in the Vivid Racing ad or the ones in the threads isnt very good.

Any other similiar options to the Mines spoiler? If so what are they?

Also, can one paint a carbon fiber spoiler to match the color of a car? I wouldnt see why not, but just wanted to double check first.

Morning Bump.

I really want to order one, but if the only pics I'm not sure if its worth risking $379 on.

 

is it carbon fiber? that would be something nice to switch back and fourth with the stock wing.

 

Well, Mines offers two versions, a carbon fiber which vendors are selling for like $599 and an FRP version which is about $376-$442 depending on who you speak to. For example Evoworks offers it for $376, but I cant get a hold of anyone there and Bulletproof offers it for $442 and lets face it thats a good chunk of change for a lip spoiler.

As for removing the stock wing and just sticking the Mines on I would agree, but when you remove the stock wing it unfortunately leaves 7 rather sizable holes that the Mines spoiler does NOT cover.

My solution to this was to find a used/junked 2006 Evo trunk lid, paint that (car has to go to the body shop anyway after a drunk driver nailed me last Saturday and ran) that way I can swap back and forth between them for track use and being a sleeper.

I will be sure to pass on this great site for junked car parts (tons of Evo/Lancer parts) after I pick up my trunk lid and see if this is a reputable site. I would hate to list it and then have it backfire on everyone

At anyrate, back to the task at hand, I need Mines spoiler pics!

 

i was going to say good luck finding evos at junkyards. i in my time of hittin up junkyards have never seen even 1. let alone finding parts for them.

 

Will the mines spoiler fit on with the stock spoiler ???

 

no, it will not fit the way it is mounted on that pic. i'll post a pic when i get home from work. it's a pic of the evasive evo with it mounted in a slightly different location.

 

I know that was my thought too, but I have a site that looks across all the junk yards in America. Like I said if this all pans out I will be sure to post the link so you all can bask in its glory.
