i goot the Best Results from That Zymol stuff, but haven't tried zino Yet.
Here is the List
Turtle Wax can style Minimal Shine Lots of Work
ICE minimal shine little work
Dupont Teflon Moderate Shine Extreme amount of work
Mothers Carnuba moderate Shine Moderate Work
Meguires NXT Moderate Shine Mild amount of work
Meguires Gold Class Good Shine Moderate amount of work
Zymol Superior Shine Mild Amount of work.
Zaino Has yet to be used. Work isn't including any of the paint preporation such as removing scuff marks or opver spray or bonded cantaiminets. Just the Waxing procedure. Pic a lightly humid Day to wax your car this way you can remove the Wax before it is completely dryed out. Soem waxes require you to remove the wax be for it even dries at all. Doing one panel at a time may be more time consuming but you leave less wax behind and get a Bettr result.

You won't burn the paint if you use a random orbital buffer and a soft cloth and pad. I have waxed mine with a buffer several times with several products and it's definitely safe.

I use to use Meguier's NXT and recently have switched the Mother's Synth. I have to say, NXT is easier to apply and shines slightly better than Mother's, but Mother's apparently stays on longer.

I prob will switch back to NXT...

Silver is a pretty hard color to show off...

You get out exactly what you put into your finish. Sure there are a few one step waxes, but then you get one step results.

Personally I think the Turtle Wax Ice is crap. I tried their quick detailer and it took off more wax then it did dust and water spots.

Is Poorboys good? Yeah, I think it rocks. Will it take longer to apply? Sure, when you put on a 4+ step finish it takes time. Will it last? With the few coats of sealant topped with pure carnuba, yeah it will last. Does it look good? You bet your sweet *** it does. Talk about depth and clarity.

And for the millionth time Zaino isn’t a wax, it’s a polish. Same goes for the TW ICE.

Great inputs. I tried my left over Meguiars gold class after i washed this morning and it did do better than the NXT wax. Ill order some poorboys wax as soon as i get the money... It sucks being a college student...

I've only used Zymol (cream wax for light colored cars) for the silver paint. http://www.autoanything.com/car-care/69A3062A0A0.aspx I like it and is the only type of wax I've used since owning my WRX.

I have been using meguires nxt wax for alot of shows w/ my apex silver evo and it seems that there isn't much work involved, but the shine is only moderate. I will try zymol
