Wax for Apex Silver Evos!

I was wondering what is the best wax to use for apex silver Evo's. Ive been switching between Meguiars NXT (which seems to do better on darker cars) and their Hi-Tech yellow wax. I always use the show car glaze before hand as well. It works pretty well, but i know it could be better. Im still not getting the mirror finish id like to have. If ya'll have any tips or a better product to try id appricate the input. I also did search and checked the Apex silver thread, but didnt see anything in there. If i missed something please let me know! Thanks again ahead of time!

I've been using zaino.....works very well. Of course having a good buffer helps.

Great quick respones! Also are these used with a buffer like mentioned above? I know i could go into Wal-Mart and pick up a cheap 20 dollar buffer, but it probably wouldnt do as good as a more expensive one right?

Personally unless your finish is in need of work I see no reason to use a buffer. If you are going to get one, spring the cash and get a porter cable.

Go to

Thanks for the quick response. My finish isnt that bad at all. Ive made it look much better than the previous owner did. Im just a clean freak when it comes to my cars. I just think i do need to use a better product that you cant just pick up at autozone.

I used Zaino the last time around and the shine was ok. Then I tried Sonus and P21S. About as much shine as you can get out of an Apex Evo.

is it true that its best to hand wax your car instead of using a machine buffer?

Ive heard that a machine will do better, but if you dont know how to use it it can "burn" the paint. Also ive heard good things about the turtle was ice too. I really dont care about how long it lasts as i wax at least once a week anyway (told ya i was ****) lol

Being a fan of silver not many products makes silver pop. Zaino is your best bet. Expensive, takes a lot of time but the results are great.
