Project IX Complete w/pics

Well guys I finally got everything I wanted for the Evo (for now) .
All my mods are in my signature. Took me 2 days to complete everything... next weekend is the clutch
Eveything ready to go, on friday.

BR cat. back with DC DP... its loud but SEXY

Here are a few of the Buschur Racing FMIC w/my custom crash bar

Boost contoller mounting location.

My home made battary tray... cost about $120 for everything

And the completed project this weekend

Also ported the exhaust manifold, and I bet I removed 5lbs of material out of it

Want to give a Big thanks to Buschur Racing... Nick and Jarod, you guys rock , Mostwanted and to EvoM and the search button

Also when everything was done I took her for a small cruise (home until the tune) and wanted to see what the boost was set at, and to also check for any oil leaks. About half throttle and she hit 20 FAST, so I let off. I set the MBC back to clicks... now it holds 21 psi from 2900 to 7100 . She will be setting in the garage til the drive up to Buschurs next month

P.S
I guess if I had injectors... this would be a stage 5 BR kit

Very nice parts. Is it me or does the intercooler look slightly crooked? Is that Buschur's new version intake or old? I thought there was another bend at the filter so it straightens out.

I ain't worried about the battary, and the cam... well its good. I lost about 4 to 5 inchs of vaccum, but it sounds amost still stock

My tune is next month. The Evo is not my DD.

Hmm well thats the problem is if its not your dd then prepare to have a charger standing by.

However, I hoep you dont have nay issues with it cause it looks great. However, let me know what happens when you get it dynoed I am interested to see the power curve

I let a friend of mine take it for a spin and its pretty loud. It seemed as though it only really loud when its idling, or if its under boost it seems like you can hear it a mile away . Just cruising it doesn't seem to be to bad
