Aerocatch flush hood latches installed!

I have a Cf hood and the hoop that engages the stock hood latch was more than sketchy. At speed the hood fluttered and it never really felt secure. I saw these and picked some up. A itchy PITA to install and line up right, but they made the hood rock solid and the latch mechanism is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Slighty less cheeesy on the street than reg. latches/pins and they have a locks.

A silly little thing, but they have made me ridiculously happy Though I'd share.

Here are some pics..

Those are sweet. When I get a carbon fibre hood (after 30% of the paint has gone from my stocker)... I'm going to try this.

Intense motorsports.... 80$. Saw them advertised in the vendor FS. "Evo exterior" forum a while back.

Never ordered from them before but their service was excellent and they shipped promptly.

I think that would depend on the install, chosen location and quality of the hood.

Looks good to me. I'm sure you have to be careful drilling thru the cf hood..... Finished results look good tho!

Actually, TOP SECRET uses the Aerocatch pieces but brands them as their own. Aerocatch is a UK company. Looks great!
