Front & Rear Debadging a EVO IX - HELP!

I wondered what it would look like without the front from the front grill...so i just took it off.

Did anyone else do this? Any pics? Did u just remove the or did u remove the "support piece" as well?

Also, im going to debadge the rear tonight or tomorrow and wanted some ideas...should i take EVERYTHING off, leave just the EVOLUTION & SE badges, or just the SE badge? Thoughts?

Thanks Guys!

Looks nice. Did you have to remove the whole front bumper to get the front brackets off, or is there an easier way?

You can take off the plastic fastners and a couple bolts to get to the front emblem. Just get a short screwdriver and reach your hand in... be careful not to drop the screw though. I took mine off a couple weeks ago and painted it black... did the same to the back emblem.

Yea, i got the front off no problem...but there is a piece of metal that the was screwed into that is still there - and i wasnt sure if others were removing this as well??? It would def require some cutting/removal of bumper/etc...

I always love a debadged car. My last 3 cars were all done...and i plan on doing the rear this weekend.

Yes the rear was easy. I did it on a hot day, didn't need a blowdryer or floss. I just lifted an edge of the emblems and slowly peeled everything back. The adhesive all stayed on the emblem no residue on the trunk lid. I did a buff and wax anyhow. Its such a clean look, I love it.
