To de-badge or not to de-badge...
That is the question. I did some custom vinyl cutting to lay over my front and back mitsu logos to give it a more classic look. And then I finally got some Evo 7 tails straight from a show-room car in Japan. I like the red look, gives it a unique feel.
I haven't taken off the "Lancer Evolution" badge though, and I'm wondering if I should. But I can't decide which would look better. So I'll leave it to EvoM to give an opinion.
Here's a mock photo of with and potentially without. Btw, I use the JDM plates as a censor, just easier that way.

So yes or no?

Design-wise, things stand in odd numbers. Meaning, two vases on a mantle look sloppy, but three look just right. Two can work, if the mantle, itself, if used as a visual queue. Given the CT9A trunk, we have the tails (2 items right there) and the trunk lock. That's three. An odd number. Your next choice is a five - (2) tails, Mitsu badge, trunk lock, and (say) the Evolution badge. Lacking any training in styling/design, this is probably the best way to approach something like this. FWIW, the pics show even numbers - 4 items and 6 items, respectively. Neither looks well-styled.
