Body shop guys. Your opinion.
I was taking my sister to Best Buy this afternoon and while parking in the parking lot I tapped my front bumper into the curb in front of me. I was going about 4-5 mph.
The bottom part of the bumper (lip) is pretty much wasted IMO. The section of clearbra I had installed on it is deeply scratched and the outer lip's paint is chipped and has a grainy texture.
I've settled on either:
1. Getting a new OEM one and applying a clearbra section.
2. Getting a aftermarket lip.
The upper portion of the bumper however got chipped right at the lower lip portion:
This pic shows an overview of the area.

Up close on the left area.

What do you think is a good DIY fix?
1. Sand it down and give it touch up paint? I guess many coats would be needed since it was chipped.
2. Use body filler or putty to fill the void, sand, and paint?
3. Body shop? fellow evom member Ultimate Collision Center?
Thanks for any good advice.
BTW, I'm pretty **** about stuff like this; I would not be able to bear looking at these chips daily.

Man those are pretty nasty. They can be repaired, I really do not see the need for a new bumper just to fix those scratches. I would take it to a body shop you trust and have them fix it. Your prolly looking at a 2 to 3 days wiithout your car. That is an extreme guess depending on how busy the shop is. In my shop we would have that in and out in less then 2 days. Cost wise will be a lot cheaper repairing it then replacing it, and I really doubt any shop will tell you it needs to be replaced. Good luck and watch those curbs bro.
