Trustz gauges!!!
I guess it would be hard to describe them that way. Yeah, they are overlays in the way that they do lay over the old gauges. But they have their own lighting source, which I don't think is a factor in your typical overlays. I dunno though, they look nice enough for me!!
They are WAY brighter then stock. Looks awesome, especially at night. It makes it so much easier to see the things you need to see.
It doesn't look non-stockish at all. Looks almost exactly like the stock black stuff, except the numbers are white now.
If you look at them lit up you can see the dim part where the green "headlight" indicator is. I don't think this is as dim as I placed it a little uneven.
That's the only problem with these gauges. They are a little thin, so the instructions call for taping the sides that might stick up a little or the needles won't move properly. I just used double sided clear tape and it worked wonders. The top ones I didn't though, so that's why that one might be a little dim.
Although the turn signals are very bright, just like normal, so it might just be a little dim there. I like it better that way, cause it seemed like a pretty insignificant light.
Here is where I bought them:

Overall I think they look great. The instructions are kind of vague, but not too bad.
If anyone needs help installing them, I would be more than happy to help. The little black piece to change the color and intensity, i didn't even have to hard mount it. It fits snugly under the dash. I will take pics to show people what I'm talking about.

Hi I just got em today & it's hard To understand TRUSTZ's instructions, is there anyway u can help me out with the installation?
Thank you
Trustz gauges are awsome, but whats the point of the switch... on my red gauges it switches from intense pink to a nice red... Really only want the red.. so does the switch serve a purpose? Or can I re-wire the side that controls red and ditch the switch? Any help would be greatly apreciated
Just leave the switch be lol, why mess with it. Leave it in red and your done. My bro got the white/blue ones and I installed and routed the switch in my bro's evo to behind the dimmer switch pannel thing and just taped it up. He always has it in white and doesn't mess with the switch. He tried the blue but it looks more green lol
the idiot who owned my evo before me put some spirit of competition blue overlay gauges on the car and they are dead. i found out the hard way that they were overlays and not bulbs when i took it apart. i also noticed that he did something to the tach needle because there were scratches under it on the overlay. i just ordered the trust gauges, but now im worried because im almost certain this imbecile took the needles off. if he did, is there a way to realign them?
also, instead of having to deal with all the wiring, can i just plug these into the harness thats in there for the previous overlays?
