Scratches on Clear Coat of Wing?? Help!

Unhappy Scratches on Clear Coat of Wing?? Help!

Hey todays the first time ive waxed my wing myself.. with a brand new cloth.. n for some reason i have these mini scratches on it.. like there was sand on the cloth.. is this normal?

can i fix it?

little things bother me haha

try a clay bar...then wax her again...make sure you cloth is clean

i would use a 100% cotton cloth too, ive used those microfiber things that are polyester abd some other material and they scratched my car up. I used zaino a few times with a cotton towel and they are gone now.

NO that is not normal you either pushed down to hard or you had a dirty towel or a dirty car. But do not fret, some compound on a white foam pad will remove them, after you hit it with some compound, go back over it with some polish on a black foam pad. I bet you could even do it without a buffer and just do it by hand. Get yourself some compound and polish, 3M "perfect it" compound and 3M "polish glaze" and knock yourself out. If you do deciede to use a buffer WATCH YOUR EDGES and be careful not to burn the crap out of your new wing. In fact you might want to tape off your edges with masking tape so you will have an extra layer of safegaurd.

A claybar will not remove tiny scratches, those are only used to remove gunk and crap off your finish.
