I had my car for 2 days and some truck driver lifted up a few big rocks by driveing off to the drit road have in mind where on the HIGHWAY. One rock hit the hood and left a real big dent.

what a joke , i guess u cant really let paint chips and crap like that bother you , especially on a rally type car like the evo, and i guess you cant let little dings and what not bother you either, especially because theres always gonna be one idiot after another to bump into your bumper or hit your door or whatever these morons do. still annoying though, i need to get some of that touch up paint and call it a day

 

Get the touch up paint. I'm sure the difference between 05 and 06 (if any) isn't enough to notice on a ding. Hell, i bought the 03 silver which wasn't even Apex silver like my car is and it still looked good.

 

06redMR, if you want to get the exact color of your car, take it to a body shop and have them get the code off your car and mix you up a lil touch up bottle. Keep in mind its not going to look exactly like your finish cause it will just be base only and not clear too. The lancershop paint pens sounds like a good idea but I have never used them or seen them. Sorry to hear about your chips bro, but its bound to happen sooner or later. Good luck
