AHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!! ive had my damn 06 MR for just over 2 week. TWO WEEKS!!!!!! and some **** loving a-hole already decided to ram his front license plate screw directly into the back of my bumper causing a end-of-screw shaped circle on the car, not only that, but its a deep one, that took the paint and some urethane(ot whatever the bumper is made of) off. ahhhh im so pissed i cant explain it. anyways thought id vent for a sec and then come to my next point. this freakin car flings little pebbles and rocks around like its no ones business. from a brand new car and brand new paint job 2 weeks ago, i already have ATLEAST 10 paint chips all over the car. the wing, the rear left door has like 4,rear left top piece(cant remember the name haha), the front right fender has like 4, the front bumper, plus the idiot that hit the rear bumper, what a wonderful life. is it just me or do all of your cars fling rocks around and chip off paint in little places??? also where can i get a little tube of MATCHING red touch up paint to match my 06 evo MR red(i think its called rally red?) so i can dab all the little chips and attempt to make it look a bit better? any help would be great thanks guys!

 

The tires are so sticky, thats why it flings rocks etc.....

The smart thing to have done would be to do the 3M clear bra all around the car before leaving the dealership lot....

but its too late now.....

Was this on normal paved roads? Freeway? I would be angry as all hell if I got rock chips in two weeks. My integra didnt have rock chips for the longest time, but I did get door dings from idiots in the parking lot.

welcome to mitsu paint... My eb has chips everywhere on both rear doors and the front bumper is awful ... Im gona have to get this pos repainted sometime

 

dealer sells touch up paint but itdoesn't match perfectly. that realy Sux

 

That sucks a$$ people are so retarded amd have no consideration... yea the touch up paint will help the stone chips... I got mine from the dealer $8.00

 

Part of it is from the sticky tires the other part is from the sh*tty paint.

As far as touch up paint try your dealership.

 

i dont care as much for a jdm evo IX bumper as i do for the muellerized JIC coilover kit, 25mm adj rear sway bar and trailing arm bushings that im gonna get in a couple weeks. YA !!!!cant wait !!! but what about touch up paint, anyone know any good places that make matching colors for our evos?
