funny i have a set of JDM recaro srd off a type r. Red seude i had put into my dsm. i was thinkin g of putting it on the evo, but i'd rather sell it and get some tires for my advan rs. the comfort level on the srd's are far better than stock 8/9 seats. better side support. if i have time i'll see if the rails match up to see if its just swapping parts over.

I don't know about some of you guys but I've set on those seats and they are very comfortable.
Like some of you said, they are very good seats...better than my evo 9 seats.

If I had some money to burn and get a really good deal, I would put them on the car in a heart beat as long as they fit properly.

From my knowledge, when I was riding in a Type-R EP, the Recaros sat very low, and the bolster support was minimal. I would stick with stock. The stock, to me, has much better shoulder support than the Type-R style Recaros.

I've never sat in an EP Type-R seat, but from looking at pictures, it looks like the Alcantra Recaro SRD's that come stock in the JDM DC2 and JDM EK9 Type-R offer much more lateral support.
