Just wondering here....do u use the wing to close the trunk??? If you do then that could be the source of ur problem. Use the actual trunk to close it not the wing.

I wonder if this is related to the different design of the IX wing. I have heard that the carbon plane is much thinner and possibly even hollow.

Definitely hollow, though I don't know why they didn't just fill the wing with foam like they did on the VIIIs.

That's not a flaw, that's a damaged wing. Someone karate chopped it.

I highly doubt it'll be warrantied.

I'd call your insurance company.

Yah maybe while u were parked somewhere someone yanked on it to try and steal it.....did u ever have any foot prints on ur bumper?? I know a few people have had their wing ripped off at the mall or whatever....which is retarded, because it is not gonna come off in one piece......but either way good luck.

I was talking to someone else with a evo IX and there wing cracked in half and damaged the trunk. He was also travelling way to fast. They should not have changed to a hollow CF spoiler. He now is wingless and has a CF trunk because they would not cover the damage. good luck.
