man.. someone either sat on that thing or stomped it. Its obvious in the pics..unless of course your car moves at mach1 speed than maybe the downforce did that.

well in my expeiriences dealing with insurance claims (if thats the rout you take if/when the dealership does not warranty the wing) you will need a police report, and it might not look good that theres so much time from the date you noticed the crack, and the date you got a report.

However I know that with most people "time is money" an the time it would take to file the police report and claim might not be worth it, and it could just be easier to get a new one and chalk it up to "sensless vandolism".

I actually had to go through the police report thing last week, the rental car Ive got had its convertable top cut while staying at the Hampton in IoP SC. I wonder how bored and/or retarded you have to be to just F someones car up for no reason. BTW the car I have now even has a temp plate that says "THRIFTY RENTAL CAR" and the reg. exp. date. I mean thats even more retarded IMO if the vandals reason was to cause some stranger finacial woes.

My company had to shell out a whopping $14 for the damage.

put some "gaff tape" and call it a day...j/k

seriously though, it looks like foul play to me. there's no way your system is going to make the wing crack like that unless you had extreme amounts of air movement in the trunk, and even then, the cf is strong as hell!

see what the dealer says, but be prepared to call your insurance because its likely that this is where you'll end up going.

by the way, do you work at abrcrombie?

Maybe the evo IX wings are cheaper but last i checked my evo viii wing cost over 1100 dollars at mitsubishiparts.net
