alright, alright

Hello,

Ok, ok...as a 'teaser'... I'm working on a set of Mudflaps for the EVO. I'm going for the same fit and function as the Ralliarts. School and work are keeping me busy right at the moment, but I'll let everybody know just as soon as I have them ready, how they test out, and how soon I can get some sort of business license setup here on EVOm.

Cheers,

jcnel.

Mudflaps in front only

EVOeight,

Thanks for the idea. I went to PEP boys and got the same thing. I bought two pair but only installed the fronts for now. I actually think it looks pretty good. You really don't even notice that they are there. I've seen a few other OEM's cars that come from the factory with fronts only. I will probably just keep it this way.

I almost forgot about this thread. Your mud flaps turned out great GroundChuck! I think you need the rear ones too though, to keep the look "balanced". You will be happy having less mud thrown onto the side of your car too!

EVOeight: you did Stage 1, i was looking at them they should be 1" wider i think if we go with stage 2 it would look perfect - i think it means its wider on the bottom.... i will check it today again - i think mud flaps gives you more rally look but its not that i dont really care if they say the car looks BAD with mudflaps, since i drive my car 24/7 and thru the winter it will protect my paint and underbody....

bullfrg: negative they are same size, on the bottom - I will look for more clues and let you know, because i hate those red rally art mud flaps, not on silver.

Tweakdsm, did you see these? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...8&page=1&pp=15

I think they are a better alternative to $400 Ralliart ones.

I prefer the look of the molded mud flaps as oppossed to the flat piece of rubber. Just my personal opinion...

I like how they look to but am not sure it covers enough. I am getting rock chips in the weirdest places and think these may help.
