That seems to happen to me almost every time I buy a new car. My wife will never understand cars or why I buy the things I do but oh well. The secret for me has been to buy her a new car also. She'll either get over it or she won't, good luck and that's an awesome car. If I wasn't an idiot I would have waited a few months and gotten the black MR but I love my car nonetheless.

I got her the new Toyota FJ and she was quite happy. I can't complain coz I still drive my Evo and now I got a pretty capable off roading car on the weekend

For the folks interested in trading me their IX wheels + cash please pm me your best offer and I'll pick the highest offer by tomorrow night. It's gotta be an in-person trade because I don't have a spare set of wheels to throw on. I'm in norcal. (sacramento area)

Savaho:

I will be joining you and the rest of the Black MR family in 10 days....hahhah good thing the gf really likes the car. I cant say I would be willing to upset the wifey like that but i give u props for laying down the law hahahha....

Anyway all the norcal black mr's should get together for a shoot...we are a rare breed. Would be fun to see like 20 of em driving around in a line. Everyone would **** themselves.

Congrats on the MR. I had a hard time convincing my wife to let me trade in my '03 8 for my 9 MR, but I won in the end.

Quote: I just wanted to add that I got the car for $35897 from Golden State Mitsubishi in Sacramento. They have about 20 evos in stock but no black MRs. A retort to the guy saying I have my priorities wrong, dude, no one is going to starve over this and I still pay the bills so I don't know what's the big deal. My wife is somewhat competitive with me and the last time I bought my 05 evo she had to buy her volvo the same day. She's probably upset to see me so frickin happy. Go figure.
Well you did say that you had to sell your soul...to get the car, to me that leaves the impression that your priorities are in fact in the wrong place. On the other hand...you only live once that I know of. Enjoy your new ride!
