first mod IX= 0AWHP 3m bra

whats up guys got my 3m clearbra on today. stealership wanted 600 bucks to do it, got it for 350. guy who did it is on the 3m website, certified and guaranteed just like if i got it at the dealership. he is basicly the middleman that 3m sends to the dealership to get it done there. anyway this stuff is pretty cool. goes on just how a decal on a model would. you wet the surface, wet the plastic, and stick it on. he fits it and then cuts the outlines out. it fits very well and the work is quality from this guy. he got it all up in the crevases of the front end, there is no peeling or anything. he said on black it stands out the most, but on mine it really is transparent. you can see the seam on some of the pics, but keep in mind this is close up with a flash on. when standing next to the car, you really have to look.

he does installs at a bimmer dealership and said a guy came in who swung a turn wide in a parking garage while in his 5 series. he had this stuff on the front end. he scuffed the corner of the front bumper on the concrete at low speed. this guy peeled off the 3m bra and it was all scuffed, scratched, and a little torn. got it all the way off and no damage to the paint whatsoever. should be fine for what i do, dont plan on meeting any concrete walls anytime soon.

Good decision, your paint will thank you later. I went with the clear bra also, except I got the Ventureshield film. It's stronger and clearer than the 3m and comes with a lifetime warranty. I got everything installed for $500 (bumper, hood, lights, mirrors). This is probably the best investment on a brand new car.

Noice! I got that done as my first mod too. I got my entire fenders and hood covered though, no seems anywhere, along with the mirrors and rear fenders behind the wheels (just a strip there, not the whole rear fender). And I had my lights done yellow, I was going to go with the Smoke but everyone said they couldn't see anything at night, especially in the rain with smoke, so yellow it was! I hate rock chips and scratches on my cars and this was a very good safety net.

It looks like it stops at the begining on the front tires. Does it stop there? If so why didn't you go farther on the sides and hood?

Look at the first pic. It looks like the 3m stops right infront of the front tires
