It is certainly not a cheap job and your best bet is going with a swap trunk with a RS owner but if you really want to do it to your own trunk it will be in the 550-750 range typically...

IMO, put the wing back on, it looks horrible without one, it serves a purpose, and its $500+ to fix it...

Check out the parting out section. Or salvage yards for a trunk?

From what I could get off the mitsu PDF it does next to nothing (except cause drag and police interest) up to about 80mph and doesn't do anything substantial until you're +100mph.

I'd rather go 'stealth' and not get pulled for every signal infraction for the loss of down force at the .1% of the time I'm in the 80+ range of the speedo.

By it's personal choice.

Totally agree, I guess I just had it in a lower bracket in my mind, for that money I'll just go with the cf trunk.

I'm giving my dealer a call about a new trunk today, the GG isn't available in the GG is it, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to get a lancer one. Long way to go in the search.

Final option is I have a "we owe" from the dealer for a couple of scratches the car had coming off the truck, so maybe I'll piggie back the work there and see what extra their body shop would charge for shaving the holes.
