its called temperature (in Kelvins)

i suggest nothing higher than 8000k, which is blue and anything higher will be purple. 6000k is a sort of turquoise color. check these out...

remember that anything higher than 4300k (i think thats the temp) will have more color but less brightness (whiteness).

I suggest 4300k and 4300k only

They provide the brightest output possible in terms of actual light intensity, anything above that is only for show

Blue light on black asphalt...yeah doesnt do much

he does want blue tint so 6000k would be better than 8000k since it is brighter. i doubt there's anything in between 4300 and 6000k

yeah, if you want blue, go with either 6K or 8K....but it's probably going to be pretty hard to see at night when it's raining

Here are some old randoms of my evo's stock 4300k HIDs.

This shows the color change at the cut off.

This is a picture of when the HIDs are still warming up:

Hope this helps.

The stock halogen lights are terrible. At night I just drive with my highbeams and blind oncoming traffic because the stock lights are that terrible.

Hmmm...I think they're pretty good and I'm comparing them to 4x100w H4s.

Great! Blind other motorists, because of your preference.
