Hym.... If you look at the picture of the TL next to my car you will notice the custom chameleon paint job that was over 5 grand. My brother and I have a good friend that owns a body shop. He said to repaint my hood and bumper I'm looking at over 600 bucks and thats my hook up price. So lets see 5 dollar white painters tape that takes an hour and a half of your time for when you travel on a long trip or a repaint for over 600 bucks. Or I could go the other route and get the clear bra that is like 150 bucks which after a year or so starts to turn yellow like on my friends lexus, and then have to pay to have it taken off and then pay for a new paint on top of that because the paint that has been exposed to the elements and is a slightly different shade of white now.
Flame all you guys want it was a very easy choice for me for the long trip, and there was no hassle taking it off after the trip.

Some of you are pretty clueless...This method has been used by show cars for years. Team Hybrid (google them) had a "blue tape" party and drove from CA to the SEMA show. They had a show on the Speed Channel
