I can tell the difference. It is obvious without even having them side by side. One, you dont get that clear portion of the headlight with the EVODave ones. It is black. Two, he paints the inside amber so it is not anywhere near as bright as the the genuine lights and it doesnt go to the edges of the light like you see in the pic of the genuine ones. Trust me, I looked into this for myself. Look at some pics of genuine JDM lights and then tell me the difference isnt clear. Again, EVODave does amazing work and for me it is not worth $600+ for freakin' headlights so I think you made the right choice. I just think when I am ready to mod my lights this summer I am going to suck it up and spend the coin or just get Dave to black out the stockers without the amber. But if you look around you will see the difference is obvious.

 

OK, I put them side by side, I see the difference between the painted and the orange colored plastic...I wonder if dave can order and get that orange piece and then install it? The top he can leave clear/chrome and that would take care of that. Then they would be identical.
