We have one here in town that has around 1000hp if any of you local guys ever want to see it run . I'm building myself a nasty 88 quest for the street , that will also have 1k and at just 2,400lbs I will go out on a limb and say it will not be too slow

 

there are 3 guys on my ship that have Starions...i never saw one till then. no wi see 3 everyday. think they are cool....hey what is the fastest anyone has got a starion to go... 1/4mile

 

i think they should make a revisied version of the car and sell it...

 

Buddy @ my Dealership has a Starion and is currently swapping an auto tranny LS1 into it.

shop here in charlotte has actually done a few swaps and has turned out unbeliveable!!!perfect fit.

So add the LS1 and then plans to turbo it. No B-S.
had a Very very fast old 91 (??) VR4 Galant that was super clean.just sold that.So thats where his money is coming from.

 

Street 2.6 liter powered Starion ? Theres one guy that runs 9.50's with his street starion . The car we have runs low 7's but its an all out drag car . I myself plan on running high 8's god willing , so far I know I can make the power to get me there I just have to take my sweet *** time and learn to drive the car that fast on a 6 speed . Also my car will be a street car as well so it will take lots of hard work and tons of track time .

The 2.6L Starion engine is in the fabled Sakura import drag car from Puerto Rico that runs 7.4x's.
