If you remove the wing properly and not leave open holes in the trunk lid then I can't rip on the idea. Wingless EVOs definately have less problems due to less negative attention both from johnny law and the haters.

If I could get my hands on a cheap matching or CF trunk lid I would go wingless (except for track days). Instead I run the $15k car low profile wing. (Though I didn't pay much more than that for my EVO)
