The stock wheels look out of place with all the rice, but I'm sure your Volks look much better. It just didn't make sense to post pics without the Volks, imo.

There are multiple write-ups on how to remove badges easily, so do a search.

I would say that a CF lip, Evodave heads, and a body color VG would improve the looks, but they would serve almost no performance purpose and cost a lot of money. If that's your preference, then go for it.
i dont only care about looks, in fact i hardly care about looks but the oppurtunity arised so i did it, i do wish the exhaust hung a little higher and might try to fix that. and i dont see how there is any rice in there because all of the parts are mitsu factory parts... the reason that i didnt post pics w/ volks is because i just got car back from the body shop and wanted to take pics of it and i have no tires on my volks right now...

Yes, they are factory parts, but not on your car. The JDM rear removes the function of the bumper, which is bad, so it's the pure definition of "rice." Anyway, your car isn't "ricey," but that's the word I use for mods that make a car look faster without making it faster (e.g. everything you listed as your next mods), especially when the mod(s) costs a lot of money.

yah i understand. i always used to say that i wasnt going to make my car look better than it already did but i had the oppurtunity to do so so i did. the things i listed arent going to be my next mods, they are my next interior mods. my next mods will be either a 50 trim or a 20glt w/ coat and ported manifold, 680 injectors, fuelpump, fmic, licp, ect, all of the other basic bolt ons.

Man there is nothing wrong with you going with a 9 front and rear bumper, if you get the opportunity why not? I got into an accident 2 weeks ago and my insurance is taking care of it. I am also planning to do a 9 front bumper and a apr lip because its clean!!

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with improving the look of the car.
Although there are some members whose sole concern is performance and performance only, I think majority of evo owners in the forum like and appreciate cleanly excuted exterior mods.
To each his own.
To get back on topic, definitely wait for apr lip spoiler.

i am suprised that noone has said anything about the ride hight, it still sits on stock suspension with stock springs i think the rear bumper makes it look way agressive

This is the show and shine section, so anyone saying anything bad about looks shouldn't be here in my opinion.

I say APR CF lip and evodave heads/tails... and since you mentioned the ride height, get some swift springs.

although i agree that 8's should stay being 8's, i don't think that his choice of mods, evo 9 rear bumper and front bumper are nicey at all especially with your own definition. those specific parts were not added to make his car "look faster" as they are factory body parts in japan. do they cost a lot of money and don't make your car any faster? yes. but different strokes for different folks. i think any parts added to make you like your own car more is money well spent.

Hey I am with that 100% everytime I put somthing up that I think is cool I get flamed.
I was thinking the ride height yesterday when I first saw this post. I like the IX rear bumper, I was going to do that on mine...I think I have decided to go w/ an apr rear diffuser though. Post some pix when you lower it, get the lip, and put the wheels on. Sweet ride!
