do you have this kit? if so then thanks for your answer........

if not, i understand the "plug and play" but i was curious if the company supplied or recommended a bigger fuse. if so, the unit is going to be drawing a little bit more wattage to ignite the ignitors. (even if its only for a few seconds to start up) i know the draw afterwards from the bulbs is 35 watts steady. i just dont want to short the factory wires from over draw in the long run.

Thanks SVT2Evo, your car looks awesome!

For those who have installed this exact kit how is the light output and color? Does it give off a yellow, white or bluish hue? Is it considerably brighter than the stock non HIDs? Thanks for the inputs!

Thanks !

I really like this kit because it's a nice white bright light now over the dull yellow halogens . It is so much better now driving at night since I can see so much more . It has a little blue hue from the sides like any HID .

kashoggio thanks !

Question. If one of these bulbs burns out can you buy any HID bulb to replace it or do you have to search for a certain bulb?

If I were to buy oem parts would they not be plug and play like this kit? I ask because I have the parts available to me cheap but I dont have the wiring knowledge needed if they arent plug and play.

Sorry for the partial hijack, this thread got me hooked on buying HID's and im just trying to figure out the best and easiest way to go. I can handle basic installs but dont want to be messing with sodering and wiring in relays and I would like to do it myself.

Thanks

Correct me if i'm wrong but these bulbs are rebased so you need to buy rebased bulbs and can not just use normal HID bulbs. I have the same kit but bought it from ebay because the guy selling it had it cheaper on ebay. I think it was like 250 shipped total.

Yeah, what a bad design that was. To replace the headlights you have to take off the front bumper.... wtf were they thinking.

So when your bulbs eventually burn out you have to find a set of rebased HID bulbs? How hard is it to find an HID bulb with a 9006 base?
