I had a set on my GG IX and I ended up selling them right after I got them.

That SBC is a very strange finish to capture, It Eats up light or lack of light. At dusk they look almost pewter and at night a black chrome. When the light directly hits it...they look chrome.

They ended up being a little too flashy for my tastes but one hell of a wheel

Eric

Thanks for all the comments guys! I'll post pics mounted on the vehicle around the latter part of next week when the tires come in (around Thursday or Friday).

As for the tire, I'm just going back with what I'm currently running on the stock rims. I'll be running the Hankook K104s in a 245/40R18, which are a decent street tire for the $$. They aren't super sticky but they are every bit as good or better (with the exception of rain) as my previous BFG KDWS were and almost three times less expensive for me to buy.. And they offer a good bit of grip, decent ride, etc....

For the person that asked who I got them through-- We have a family owned wholesale/ retail tire store so I got them from a guy we wholesale tires to in ATL.. IMO I got a pretty nice buy in the wheels too..

Walker, I'll definitely be seeing you soon and you can inspect them all you want, but they still aren't as nice as your rims, lol

Eric, I definitely agree on the strange finish being hard to capture in pictures. As you can tell in the photos one pic looks almost black, then another looks chrome..

Lol, I may end up deciding they are too flashy for me as well since I generally do _NOT_ like chrome at all.. But I wanted to do something different on my car so I went with these for the time being..
