Does anyone have any experience with wheels being chipped upon arrival? I was looking at the wheels earlier and one of them has a slight chip, about the lenght of a finger nail or less, on the rim where the tire seats up..

I'm debating on whether or not I should contact Enkei and see about replacing it or if I should just let it go since it is very small and with the tire mounted it will be hard to see anyways..

Thoughts??

 

Just give them to me, and buy something else. Everyone's happy.

I wouldn't worry about it, their gonna get chipped anyway. Plus you wont have to wait as long to repaint them since there's some damage already. If your not happy with the color that is..

 

Those wheels are super sick looking on a WW....Some guy was running those at the track yesterday and it looked reallllllllllllllllllllllly good!!!!

Well, I would have them later on this week but it's going to be a few extra days now I checked out the other 3 rims today and one of them has a bent spot on it so it's warped. The good news is 2 more are already on order (decided to go ahead and replace the chipped one also) headed my way, so hopefully won't be too much longer.. I'll make sure to update with pics when I get them mounted..

Yeah, Enkei blamed it on UPS.. Update on the two new wheels-- they shipped out Wednesday out of California so I should have them hopefully by next Tuesday and I'll get these put on and get some pics up (I know finally)..

Nice wheels ... I didn't know they were available in that finish. Do you have any specs? Weight in the 18" size ? Offset, width, etc. ?

 

I worked for Cali Overnight for a bit, and I'll tell you, after 6hrs of bieng very careful, you tend to just start tossing stuff around, like new wheels.
