doing a gold paint job in the next couple weeks...i debated between gold car with black volks,cf hood,black roof,and cf trunk....but also thinking of just doing gloss black trunk,roof,and hood...some people are telling me CF is played out now...so whats your thoughts?

go carbon fiber?or just paint car gold and do black parts instead of CF?let me know,thanks.

 

Yeah C.F. is getting a little over done. Time to come up with a more original scheme

Notice the roof... It was color matched to the carbon. But its been done before.

The roof would like nice, but not the hood and trunk.

Here is an example of something a little like that:

 

See whats nice about the Evolve S40 is that they chose a color that compliments the silver. It not too dark, and it breaks up the lines of the car, giving it more of an aggressive look. There new design has the paint continue down the front bumper. The style closely resembles that of the Evo Prototype X, the Audi A6, A8's, and the new Volkswagen GTi's.

I must say that when you do a paint scheme like this on an Evo, it makes the car look much thinner in shape.

werd on that. I don't have any cf or body mods right now. Just suspension and some under the hood goods.

I'm not sure what direction to go myself, maybe a cf lip, jdm IX rear bumper, some wheels & lots more under the hood
