Zeitronix install
i mounted mine like every other joe ontop of the steering colum with double sided tape, i might remove it from there cuz the glare sometimes does not let me see the numbers, the custom job is great. I wouldnt want it showing though cuz dumb people will break ur window anytime they see something hanging there.
Has anyone done anything that's a little more "built in" looking? I'm really trying to avoid something that looks, for lack of a better term, tacked on. I'm thinking of getting something made to put it into the radio opening, and moving the radio with the relocation kit.
yea, i tried that...the only problem is you wont be able to use the peak display function. You have to have access to a yellow button that is on the side of the display. If you mount it flush, you wont have access to that button and the peak display function is very handy
.also if u don't like it w/o the green overlay u can always put it back it will still stick
i personally like the way eficker mounted his: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&postcount=169
That is a clean mount.....i like also that the trim around the upper console was replaced to match the finish if the dash

Like I said, it looks nice, but you lose a very useful function of the display
here is mine.
realize you lose the yellow peakhold button, but I use mine mostly for datalogging, so the peakhold is not needed, as your peak is displayed on the graph.
wish zeitronics and others would make a din sized controller.
