3M Clearbra on my IX SE.

I just installed this the other day and wanted to show everyone what it looks like. As anyone who's bought this for their car will tell you; it may not be cheap but its worth every penny! I intentionally took pics at certain angles (bad angles) so you could really see the edge. From 5ft away, you can't see the film at all. If you're on the fence about this, I would suggest getting it ASAP!!!
BTW, this is a custom trimmed kit that I did, not an xpel kit

These shots are about 10ft away:

I would get it done to my car is there wasn't such a definate difference in gloss....doesn't help to have a detailer's eye .

Less noticable line on gray though, props for protecting your beauty .

Where did you source it from? I would like to get one and have a professional install it after the wintertime is over and I repaint my brand new f-n car.

It depends on what you get covered and NO it isn't easy! I don't advertise on the site so I can't give my price but most shops are around $750 for a complete kit which includes the hood, fr bumper, fenders, mirrors, and lights.

I took the pictures like that on purpose. Believe it or not, it actually looks glossier in the sunlight and is much less noticable. The metallic paint defracts the light travelling through the film and you can't tell its there when its sunny. If its sunny tomorrow I'll try to get some pics and show you what I mean. Plus, we all know how great 's paint is, so I'm doing my part to keep it from getting any worse!!

I'm an installer and I have my sources. Here is a link at 3M's website to find an installer in your area: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3..._the/Consumer/

Will wax build up where the seems runs across when you go to wash and wax?
