You are correct,the Evo is 5 x 114.3,but the mold on the wheel does say 5 x 100. What it boils down to is that it would cost more money than it's worth to create a second mold that reads 5 x 114.3,hence the reason they all say 5 x 100. This is direct from a little birdie @ Mackin Industries
so the wheels aren't 5-114.3 and 5-100 "dual drilled". if not, it seems strange that they would just leave 5-100 on them when there are different molds for different backspacings and spoke placements anyway. 
No, actual size on a evo is 5X114.3 but it doesn't say that on the wheel for some reason. CE28s have 4X114.3, 4X100 and 5X100 casted into the wheel. It doesn't make much sense to me either.
