I'm sorry if I was dragging it out. I had honestly never seen anything like that on a CT9A chassis, let alone in the Ultimate Aggressive Wheel thread. But, to each their own.

Moving on...

Wow, this is very interesting. When I first saw this site I thought it was an evo enthusiast site where people would come together and trade ideas, share pictures and interesting stories. Not insults. If you don’t like my set up that’s fine. That’s your choice. Im not from the west coast where gold and bronze volk wheels are on every evo you see. I hated half of the rims on this forum. But the one thing I did that all of you did not was show a bit of respect to someone like yourself who has the same love for the car that you had.
It makes me wonder does the forum moderator even look at this page.

This thread is for aggressive wheels, yours are not aggressive. strike 1. You need to understand the underlying mentality of this sight which is geared towards increasing performance. strike 2. You need to understand that this is the internet and people will speak their minds. strike 3.

strange 19 by 9.5 is not aggressive(strike 1..lol)? your right this site is about increasing performance, but this thread is about wheels(strike 2..lol) People should speak there mines..but u should think before you talk..

Out of respect to the other members, and this thread I'm not going to respond to anything else about the wheels..(strike 3..lol)

Just remember one thing..for all the bad comments that people say about the evo(its a toy car, or the wing is ugly) and we go out of or way to defend the evo..those people just dont get..and can not see how good the car really is, but the same way they act toward us, is the way you are trying to act with me..good job..keep up the good work.

sorry one again members.

Yeah if you've surfed this site you can tell there are 3 different groups on here.

1) There are the track/drag/performance only ****'s that believe Rota's are crap and expensive Advan's/Volkis/SSR's/CCW's/Works are track wheels only and anything not helping performance is a waste of time and if the coilovers are anything less then KW's or Ohlin's then its cheap Taiwanese crap.

2) Guys who want some performance and will compromise for any reason (money, don't want to spend 4k on a set of wheels that could get stolen or curbed). They will typically do more appearance mods and aren't terribly concerned with making their Evo's corner the fastest or the lightest but they will buy things that make sense pocketbookwise.

3) They guys who don't give a ****. Painted interior bits, crazy carbon fiber, widebody with no intention of tracking the car, wheels that aren't typical of this site.

Those are the 3 distinct groups to me. Alot of us straddle the line between 2 of these groups (I would say I'm inbetween all 3).

That being said this site is harsh when its something against the norm (Something you would've observed when surfing as well). Your wheel choices are DEF. against the norm.

Expect to get your taste criticized. Its the internet and this site like other car forums are full of opinionated people....there is always someone who doesn't like your taste.

Now don't take this personally but those Konig's are the ugliest wheels I have seen in a while. Seriously I hope you bought the car with the wheels on it. If that was your choice I would seriously say your wheel choice is.......different (best choice of words I could come up with).

The ACE wheels. Personally the wheel design is OK. But between the size and the weight of ACE wheels in general I'd say you've severely handicapped you're Evo's performance abilities.

Bottom line its your car and you are the only person that need to be happy with it but don't expect for anyone to be this nice here about your wheel choices (Honestly when I saw the Konigs I threw up in my mouth, LOL).

Anyways welcome to the site. This is your baptism by fire. LOL.

You posted pics expecting to get people's opinion, you put on a wheels that are heavier than what the car came with and that hurts it's performance (the Evo is a performance car). If you mastered the "stance" you could probably get away with just cruising the car regardless of the wheel design but you butchered it. We are all here to gain knowledge, give knowledge, inhance the car's performance, etc... But you went off the deep end by hurting the performance and this is why you are getting flamed.

^ Clean 9 I really like that

Ya I ran 245's on a 9.5" wheel. I also have several friends that do too. Tires are slightly stretched depending on the brand of tires you get. The will help fit the aggressive 9.5" wheels.
