no teasers yet, the boat just docked this week and wheels on way from customs.. the only pics i have to give some ideas is 3.5" lip setup i used as a test fit setup..

and then we tested some Meisters too.. everything that was tested was way too safe so that is when we put the emotions on it as temp wheels waiting for the big lips.

we should have the 5" lips on by thurs.. and then do a shoot over the weekend coming and then monday ill have everything setup and a vendor ad post will be made.

Lol yea i j/realized. Doesn't matter to me now though, just curious. I used to have a 6th gen. Accord, which has pretty much the same dimensions as that TL, and the widest I went was 19x8" w/a 235/35/19 tire, and used to rub like crazy lol..

in general, im sorry but i dont give out offsets because other vendors steal my hard work and sell it as their own. not only do they steal my hard work but they dont know what to reccomend as far as tires/etc to make them fit with your existing mods which makes some peoples fitments not fit and therefore unhappy customers with nice wheels.

if you would like a VIP setup please feel free to PM me on the 16th or so when i become a vendor and i will surely guide you in the right direction

You don't need a stretch? I would consider a 255 on a 9.5-10" rim stretched. If you don't need to use a 245-255, or a stretch, to make them work then I want to see that same setup using at least a 265 without rubbing. How about a 285/30?

we currently have a 4" lip setup coming for the TL with 9" wheels all around. :-D

and then i also have a 6" lip setup coming for the 07' G35, 20x11 rear. and a 22" setup on order as well with a 6" lip.

for the Evo an almost 5" lip setup coming next week as stated. and a even bigger setup coming in future on meisters.

like stated by my friend M3This, i know my fitments and how to get stuff to work using the mods already on the car.

becoming a quote fest,

255 BFG is reccomended 8.5---10 and on a 10 isnt "stretched" a falken 255 on 10 would be VIP stretched, or a dunlop 255. but a BFG 255 actually runs 280mm wide (large for its written size) and doesnt stretch on the 10.

depending on brand would be different reccomendations of course. anyone who knows wheels should know that putting a 285/30 on a 10 would be squared which isnt the best for an agressively driven car because of sidewall flex.

people like yourself maybe have seen other brand 255's on 10's or maybe havent seen them at all but ive seen everything in person and u can see that its not a "stretch", if you want to see it with a 285 falken i can do that but you gotta understand when ordering a 285 hoosier slick, (used to have on the EVO) or a 285 BFG you must make sacrifices as far as fitment to make them work because not only do you have to deal with the inside bottom control arm on the rear but also the fender.. theirs more than meets the eye than just putting w/e u want on a car.

like i stated before first you look at the tires that are going to be used and build the rim specs around that. we used to have 285/30 hoosier slicks on the Evo and ran a different offset/wheel setup. for the 255 that was more than sticky enough for the car a more agressive wheel fitment was doable.

each car and each owner is different and demands different things, and on cast wheels that dont have the "best" fitments some things arent doable like 285's and clearing the bbk. but on the nicer multipiece wheels sure i can do a 285 all day on a 10" wheel or hell a 10.5' wheel without rubbing given that you tell me exactly what mods are done, the current ride height and alignment specs.

Ok. I run 285 Hoosiers on 9.5" forged 3 piece Forgeline wheels. It may not be optimal to run a 9.5" wheel but with the Evo you're really limited. Forgeline worked on my car exclusively to get the fitment correct. We had to do a staggered offset to avoid serious rear quarter clearance issues. Even now I polish the rear trailing arm. They tuck under the quarter and clear the trailing arm by 1/4". In the front we ran into issues with contact on the coilover spring...running 2.5" diameter 7" springs. So we had to push them out a little in the front which led to contacting the very inner lip of the fender. So I had to roll it up and do a little pulling. Then after one race I got some rub on the inner fender liner which wore through to some sheetmetal. I run a fairly aggresive alignment to help with outer clearance also..-3, -1.5
Many of these wheels shown wouldn't stand a chance of working on a car that is driven to its limits...that's all I'm saying. For a show car or mildly driven car, sure.
I know some people don't realize all the variables you have to consider when choosing a wheel/tire package. They just get it because it "looks cool"

jst realize.. theirs different stuff.

Super agressive wheels can be driven agressively BUT not intended for race.

for RACE the owners already have a set alignment their happy with most likely and in that case i take their alignment into account and build the wheels around that. 285's would be no problem. coilovers no problem rear trailing arm i know exactly the measurements to clear that, and after all that you can still get 3-3.5" of lip in the rear without a problem.. so i dont see where your going with this.

i build agressive offsets for show, agressive offsets for daily, and agressive offsets for Race.. i also do Safe offsets as well. basically like i said numerous times. i take the specs from the customer and what they want to get and build the wheels to those specs.

the emotions were temp wheels and not intended for race, the almost 5" lip wheels coming will be safer fitment and safe for race condition if needed (not intended) the meisters will be daily driven large lip wheels.. you just got to understand with the proper formulas and taking into acct the customers specs.. anything can be built..

Let me get this straight if I like a wheel you can shave the offset or add to it tom make it work? Or do I have to order custom wheels from you and just pick out a style you have? Sounds like about 5k for an admission price for a custom built wheel...Sorry but I don't have that kind of chump change laying around. Let me know if I am off base.
