The Ultimate Aggressive Wheel Thread...
They cut the rear fenders, created a lip, reinforced with aluminum tubing, welded on more aluminum (or steel I can't remember at the moment), shaved, painted, and got it done in 2 days with no sweat. Cost me $800 and they are bullet proof. With a different offset I can fit 18x10.5's now.
It is a new quarter panel added. The pics don't do it justice. I will post some before, during, and after pics once I talk to Ray @ A&R Autobody.
I'll tell ya they are a great bunch of guys family owned with i think 40 years experience.
This mod allowed me to run at GT Live this year or else i would have sat on the bench watching everyone else run.

No pulling. A&R Autobody out of Dulles VA did the work.

now that you ask... I can't remember... What ever the stock quarter panel is made of. he only used 2/8ths of the panel to make the wide body.
I can't wait for my new suspension setup... It is going to have the perfect stance and dynamics.
yeah... too bad that my racing partner broke my front bumper during a off road excursion with a 700whp 350z during the last session at GT Live for the championship. Relentless 350z pit crew and team were a cool bunch of guys.
I had to resort to running the stocker for my last session. No worries though... this finally gives me a reason to go with the varis/voltex setup for next season.
If I could only stay on the track......
