So recently I've been making a few modifications to my VIII - IX wheels, IX tails, vortex generator...I think the only part of the IX I didn't like was the front bumper so that's the only part I wanna keep as an VIII. What do you guys think? Could I pass for a debadged IX from the back?

 

You've got the same ugly back drop I do in Central IL. Nice car though.

I figured some people would think it's no good without the bumper but hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Believe it or not, the bumper is one of the main reasons I went with the VIII!

 

bleh, it don't matter. Just get what you like. If it makes you happy then screw what others think

So you bought brand new stock wheels? And the 8s and 9s look the same from the back.

 

I pretty much paid 50 dollars out of pocket to switch the wheels since I bought the IX's and sold my VIII's for 50 bucks cheaper. IX's are lighter and to me look much better so I think I made a good choice on that one.

 

I was about to say the same thing the only thing thats different are the tailights
