Saving is for 10 year olds and piggybanks, man. If I were you I would be looking into investment and business opportunities once you get your debt taken care of. Its alright to buy a house at some point, but make sure you don't over extend yourself. There are way too many people that think they are making a smart decision by buying a nice house, and they cant afford to invest their money in anything else. Its happened to a lot of my friends. A house inst a bad investment (like a car) , it just isnt a great one. Sure, you build equity over time and the house (hopefully) appreciates, but you do that with your own money. Sucks to sell a car like the evo, but its prolly for the best. Get that debt taken care of.

ending up selling it for 23k.....it was a 04 rs and had 10k miles at the time....brand new tires, and included most stock parts.......

Yes just look hard for a inexpensive starter home in the niceset area you can find (good schools help re-sale) paint carpet ect and you will make money. Get a forclosed home for really cheap. Its a buyers market for a house.
