I originally had an intended to offer a group buy on these wheels. But unfortunately, Gravity Wheels Japan was not willing to offer good margin on these wheels, so I had to ditch the idea.

15% off their MSRP, and we have to pay japan's sales tax, inland shipping fees, and ocean shipping fees to U.S, Custom duty fees/tax. haha you do the math.

I really like this wheel. A 18X9.5 +25 would be money

The RE30s are forged aluminum and that's why they are so light. This Gravity wheel is cast aluminum. This is an Evo, it's all about performance, not weighing the car down with a heavy wheel.

Right but NOT ALL wheels are forged aluminum and there not all going to be that light. My point is that the wheels are not that heavy as they are 18X9.5s. I even went wiht my friend to pick up a set for his silvia and he did say that they felt heavier. However, he also stated that the extra wheel widths helped him handle better on the track. And btw, it doesn't matter if its an evo or an all performance car, people have the right to do whatever they please with their car. I mean come on, are you gonna tell the guys in the "aggressive wheel thread" that they messed up their evos cause their wheels average 20 pounds a piece?

I am buying them purely for looks, i will keep my other wheels for track days and winter but i wanted a set of nice aggressive looking wheels for the summer show season....I doubt very much if they are any heavier than the compomotive Mo's i have on the car at present.

The forged aluminum and one piece Volk Racing CE28N wheel in 18x9.5 inch form is only 16.5 pounds, which is lighter than the stock MR/SE wheel. The MR/SE forged aluminum BBS wheel is 17x8 inches. Those wheels you just quoted are heavy two piece wheels that have no place in a performance vehicle like the Evo. Those wheels suck, period.

Here's a link to a bunch of wheel weights:

The MR/SE wheel is 17.74 pounds. Not exactly light for a forged aluminum and one piece wheel.

So since you're such a weight ****....do you drive around with the back seats taken out? What about the radio? You had better have the RS EVO for all this looking down your nose for weight/performance

Lame...I'm all for weight reduction when it is within reason and does not sacrifice daily drivability. If I was building a purpose built race car it will be gutted beyond recognition and there will be carbon fiber all over the place.
