im doing a full detail on mine while its hibernating. Im gettin ready to do some mixing of some waxes. First off i did a full clay bar with a swirl mark and sratch remover jus in case they was some all over the car so i did the whole thing in it and used a buffer on it. Then i took the turtle wax f21 polish to it and applyed by hand and removed by hand. Can i jus go ahead and say my car is as slick as of nothing ive ever felt literally and im an **** basterd when it comes to my car being smooth.

But anyway im mixing up some of the Meguires NXT wax along with the Meguires #12 yellow wax and also the Dupont Tefelon wax all together and applying it. Then on top of that im applying some Malco Flash wax on top of it. Trust me if u want a shine do all these steps u will be amazed. If anyone wants pics of wat ive done so far ill be more than happy to take some. Jus thought id help ya out some.

my 2 cents

If you're looking for a show room shine, I definitely suggest getting a Porter Cable or Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher. They work better than doing it by hand, are more time efficient, and don't make your hands want to fall off. I personally have the Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher (DAP) which is a bit pricey once you get everything you need for it, but it has a lifetime warranty and that alone is worth the $150-$200 it costs if you're serious about keeping your cars perfectly detailed forever.

My process last fall consisted of cleaning my wheels, washing the car, drying the car, clay bar, using Meg #80 w/ DAP for swirls/ polishing, and then Meg NXT Tech Wax. I plan on adding Klasse's All In One to my car after #80 to better seal the car. If I want to get a show room shine, I'll probably add a coat or two of a carnuba wax such as P21 after the NXT is on.

I hope this helps!
