I did a search and couldn't find a thread with this topic so I'm starting this up.

I'm a former AE86(hachiroku) driver so I'm coming from a deep dish rim look, 15x9.5 +8 to be exact. I still like that look but I don't see it much on EVO's except for maybe a few wide bodies running 18x10s. I was wondering if anyone out there is running rims with a 3+" lip.

oh that's siiiiiick john! if you don't mind me asking, what are the specs on your rims? i've got a set of volk RE30 (18x9.5 +28) on order but if i can go with a lower offset for more lip i'd like to do that instead.

haha! thanks cnoevo8 but i've got my rims on order.

 

My wheels are et25 front and et35 rear, 9.5J18. They are however heavy and therefore perfect street wheels, I do not race with these.
