Is it lighter than stock? How much lighter if it is lighter?

It's definitely lighter than stock. I don't know by how much but you can feel it.

I'm not sure what the weight is exactly.... but I can tell you my 575 hood is about 22 pounds with the extra ducting, scoop, and.... if you have ever seen a 3000Gt next to an evo... its ****ing huge comparatively... so I'm going to guess the evo is 18 pounds, considering you have a but area cut out and even lighter. Have to throw it on a scale to really know though.

Thanks alot for the compliments on my baby NMRY EJ6. Its a love affair where sure, its nice alot of the time, but then shes sucha pain in the ***, costs me tons of money.... but the loving is too good to leave. ha!

Sean, that is wise advice. Cheap chinese clear coat can turn yellow pretty fast. We use ONLY DUPONT UV clear coat... and we do 4 coats!

I don't have an evo here, but I can ask my sponsored guy to take some close pics of the fitment.... i thought it was pretty clear in the pics.... did noone here go to MOD05 or 06?.... he was there showing his car.

Thanks for all the replies guys, this is defintiely one of the friendlier forums on the net.

Come out with some more interesting and innovative parts and I think you'll be able to get a piece of this strong market.

ie. Figure out how to make a CF outer roof skin that goes under the rails and the weather stripping and you will make a killing.

+1 for the roof idea. Any plans on a carbon fiber trunk lid?

They sell ProSport gauges on their site, not Defi. Unless there is something I missed.
