UPDATED PICS POST #32

I was bored yesterday so I decided to paint them and they turned out preety good! Just some quick snapshots!

That seriously looks like an aftermarket rim painted

 

wow very very nice. What was your procedure?

 

Looks really good! What kind of paint did you use?

 

1. Clean wheels

2. Take center cap off (unless you want them on)

3. Sand wheels with 400grid

4. Wipe wheels

5. Grey Primer 3-4 coats (wait about 5-10 minutes between each coat)

6. Wait about 20 minutes for primer to dry

7. Gold Plasti-kote Paint which I picked up from wallmart!, spray about 3-4 coats ( wait 5-10 minutes in between each coat)

8. Wait until paint dries, you are supposed to wait like 24 hours but I had to get going places so I only let it dry for about 8 hrs and it's fine!

What method did you use to mask off the tires? And im assuming you took the wheels off of the car right?

 

I just put masking tape on it to block the tires...hahah yes I did take the wheels of the car! I wish I took pics but I didnt have my camera on me at the time...

 

Although I don't like the color, your did a very nice job. Thumbs up.
