how did you paint the outer part on the glass?
did you clean of the rests?
pics from the actual glueing?

For the outer lens what I did was tape around the edges leaving approximately a 3/8" space and scuffed it with the same "red' scuff pad that I used for the inner housing. I then used the same black paint and painted it.

I will try to get pictures of the glue tonight.

I've always been a DIY'er and done this several times (mostly honduhs). You can paint directly on the plastic without sanding if you clean off all oils (from finger tips, etc) with some dish soap on a rag.


Looks really good !!!!!!! Is there a reason you wanted amber in the turns?

Emblems came from eBay...good quality and look good in my opinion.

Just like you I am sure I owned Hondas and I was always a fan of the JDM turn signals and the amber in them. Plus its the same style as the JDM MR tails.

I used 3M windshield glue. It's the glue they use to glue windshields to cars. Very adhesive and water resistant. Comes in a caulking tube.
