r u sure people are running 275 on 17x8 rims ???255 I would say is the max. I don't think anyone is crazy enough to put 275s on 8" rim.

well post away if u do

i thought 265 was the max size you can get on a 8inch rims but i guess not.

you will need to roll the fenders, get spacers, and do some mods to the suspension to run those w/o trouble i believe.

you don't wanna see this... and i hope no one does it. by the time you squeeze a 275 tire onto an 8" wheel your effective contact patch is prolly less than 255

not to mention your sidewall bulge is going to be so great its gonna feel like your riding on marshmellows

Terrible idea. Wider isnt always better if you sacrifice side wall integrity and lower the effective contact patch

255 is the widest you should go on a 8" rim, period. Just because it MAY fit on the rim, doesnt mean you should do it

You are right, and even then its pushing it. Putting 275s on a 8" wide wheel will probably be more harmful than anything to handling/grip

but hey..who are we to judge. Evo guys like to put oversized tires on rims..at least its not as silly as the vw guys who stretch 225s on 9" wide wheels, lol
