Picture Request - EVO IX Owners

Hey Guys,

Could someone take a straight on picture shot of the EVOLUTION IX UK badge for me? I'm looking for a high resolution picture that is taken square on the badge.

If anyone has the full EVOLUTION IX MR badge, that would be perfect.

I'm looking to get this converted to vinyl and can't find a great picture out there. Most are angled shots that don't convert well.

Thanks,

turb0z

If you want to get a good shot of it for a sticker, you should just buy the cheap knockoff one ($26) from ebay, stick it to some posterboard and get a high quality scan of it. A digital camera is always going to have a distorted view of the image. But if you are going through this trouble, why not just buy the real thing?

Because I think it's ridiculous to spend the money on a badge. It doesn't seem worth it to me.

Sure, they're good quality badges, but $80-$90 was the cheapest I found them. Plus I don't want a chrome badge on my car, I'd be painting it black, which again, seems like too much of a chance that it's not going to turn out the way I want it to, (I don't trust myself).

So, I'd rather spend $20 to have a shop here locally do the scan/cut the vinyl than me spending $90+shipping for the badge.

Unfortunately I need something that's straight if possible. he took that picture on an angle which doesn't really help.

I also would prefer something that was closer. I would try to scan a cheap version of the badge, but the images I have found aren't straight, so when they scan it in to duplicate it, the letters are screwed up.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I saw that thread before he posted pics...

Not sure if this will help, but here is mine; it's the closest shot I have.

Hmm, I'll see how that works.

Thanks for posting the pic man, very much appreciated.

If anyone else happens to have a pic, I'd appreciate it!

My ebay black IX badge, less than $30 bucks $10 bucks more and you have a better looking badge instead of a sticker. Don't do vinyl sticker instead of a badge. it doesn't give any depth. Just buy this.

hahaha bruno, u think its real carbon fiber but u cant tell. how do you know it is. most carbon fiber these days isnt real just like the carbon fiber on the ix dashboard and interior. its not real it looks real thought. real carbon fiber is expensive like the ralliart hood and trunk thats why it is twice the price of a regular c/f hood and trunk.
